SIPUA – Youth & Social gUG is a Germany-based non-profit enterprise committed to fostering sustainable youth development across West and Central Africa. Founded on the belief that lasting change begins at the community level, the organisation designs and implements hands-on programmes that combine entrepreneurial thinking, professional mentorship, and intercultural exchange — creating tangible opportunities for young people to build independent and dignified futures.

Start-Up Support via Business Consultancy

At the heart of SIPUA's work is a dedicated start-up support programme for young entrepreneurs. Through structured business consultancy, aspiring founders receive practical guidance on business planning, market analysis, financial literacy, and sustainable enterprise development. The programme bridges the gap between ambition and execution — equipping young people not only with ideas, but with the tools and confidence to turn them into viable businesses.

Poultry Farming Initiative — Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire

In the greater Abidjan area, SIPUA – Youth & Social gUG runs a community-based poultry farming project that provides young adults and local families with hands-on agricultural training and direct access to productive resources. Participants learn sustainable livestock management alongside basic business skills, enabling them to establish and run small-scale enterprises independently. The initiative tackles youth unemployment and food insecurity simultaneously — combining economic empowerment with practical, transferable knowledge.

Basketball Camp & Youth Exchange — Bahouan, Cameroon

In partnership with WABA, SIPUA – Youth & Social gUG organises an annual basketball camp in Bahouan, in the Western Highlands of Cameroon. The camp brings together young athletes from across the region for intensive coaching, teamwork training, and mentoring sessions centred on leadership, discipline, and personal growth. Beyond sport, the programme serves as a platform for intercultural youth exchange — fostering dialogue, mutual understanding, and lasting cross-border connections among the next generation.
